Blending function with personality...
The tray table became an established part of Mid-Century design, serving as the perfect spot for a drink, book, or bowl of fruit. The tray has a contrasting finish on one side and matching on the other. The reversible tray surface provides more aesthetic choice and increases the products longevity. The table is aesthetically pleasing and has well balanced proportions. An honest and original design that offers emotional and playful qualities.
Made in Britain
Like all of our furniture ‘Sledge’ is made in Britain to the highest standards using a blend of traditional and cutting edge manufacturing techniques. The wood is always from FSC accredited sources and to go one step further we plant and maintain a tree for every piece of furniture we produce. The tray table will last a lifetime with a little care and attention to the needs of the wood.

About wooden furniture
Wood is a natural product. That means that as it acclimatizes to its surroundings it can change. It can dry out and shrink a little. Any cracks in the wood may enlarge slightly. The furniture we make is designed so that these changes are minimised but they cannot be eliminated entirely and, after all, these changes are what gives furniture made from natural products their uniqueness. Over the first few weeks and months please take extra care with your new piece of furniture while the wood matures and settles into your environment. Though built for durability and longevity, any movement, knots, air pockets etc are intrinsic characteristics of solid wood furniture. There are diverse environmental issues that may affect your furniture: light, temperature and humidity are all contributing factors to the health and well being of your furniture.
